i mean, please name some cards that were in booster packs far or somewhat far into the past but still maintain much of their original price. if you can, please name some sites that give information on the prices of yu-gi-oh cards

Oddly enough, Gate Guardian is still relatively expensive. In the realm of playability, Dark Magician of Chaos and Jinzo were both expensive until the release of Gold Series, which harmed both of their values (though 1/es of those cards still maintain some value; DMoC at about $40 and Jinzo probably about $30). Monster Reborn hit an all-time high right after it became unbanned, with LOB 1/e Mint cards hitting about $100 (Currently they're sitting at about $15). Morphing Jar from Tournament Pack 2 is also really expensive, cashing in at $90-$100 for a Mint copy.

In reality, though, most older cards are all but worthless with the current metagame. New stuff is so much better, so people don't run the old stuff, thus making them a lot less expensive.
Reply:as far as i know ... jinzo from the PSV is still worth about £20 (i dno how much it was worth when it first came out tho) ... first edition monster reborn from legend of blue eyes booster is worth about £15-£20 ... hope this helps
Reply:isn't it obvious

JINZO

DARK MAGICIAN OF CHAOS

and a couple more thousand commons that are still since yugioh started are only worth 2p each
