How do i know if i have some rare yu gi oh cards?
ebay is the BEST way to check prices. your son might hand you one of those yugioh books that say "Beckett" on them. these are highly unreliable. ebay is the only way to find out what REAL people will pay for them. if you don't trust ebay, look ebay up on wikipedia (wikipedia.org) a popular card shop is vintage stock. don't know any other well known ones.

also, I know elemental heros are popular with younger kids, and winged kuriboh lv10 was featured in the yugioh cartoons (little brother watches it, i'm not THAT nerdy =P) so is probably popular, and I KNOW chimeratech overdragon is popular. the non holo one runs around $3 on ebay, and the holofoil one (the shiny one) runs about $10.

don't underestimate the cards with fewer stars. they may not have much attack power, but some of them have really good effects, and so they run for high prices. also, the cards with purple and green borders (magic and trap cards) often are good. a general rule of thumb: if it's shiny, it probably sells for a decent amount.
Reply:Go to online card store sites, you know, sites selling cards, search for the card, and check out the price. The price will tell you if it's rare. Just google it. =]
Reply:They are all about 2-15 dollars depends who wants them . I probably value chimeratech at about 7-15
