My brother has a bunch of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards that he wants to sell but we don't know how much they're worth, can someone help us out? No BS please. Please put where you got the prices.

Reply:To begin, I wanted to inform you that I don't have a price list in front of me. The answers given are from memory and have been gathered from various sources that are listed below. In addition, I have been a Yugioh collector for about 4-5 years. Lastly, I will try to give you a price range as many cards fluctuate in pricing depending on various circumstances (including playability and the production of reprints). I will, however, try to give you the max price you can receive at this time if you were to sell them on ebay. Card shops may not be as generous because they themselves are looking for profitable cards and will therefore want to purchase for as little as possible. I would double-check the prices of all of these cards on ebay as ebay tends to reflect the market fairly well.





-1st Ed. Red-Eyes Darkness came from the dragon starter deck so it's worth up to $5 (tho I have seen it on ebay for a little more)


-Blue Eyes w/gold lettering is likely from the original Kaiba starter deck and is worth up to $5. The other Blue Eyes may not be worth very much unless it is a promo or possibly a reprint (not from the Kaiba evolution starter deck).


-Sorcerer of Dark Magic is a promo, however, because of its ease to obtain and its lack of playable has been held to around $8 at the most.


-Dark Magician could sell for $6-10. Not 100% sure, but I think there is more than one Dark Magician with gold lettering. Depending on the set it was printed for, it could be worth on the higher end or the lower end. Also, there are a couple of promo Dark Magicians that are worth a substantial amount.


-Blue Eyes Shining can be found for $5-8 on ebay. Some cards shops put'em at $2-5.


1st Ed. Red Eyes will depend on the set. The Joey starter deck is probably about $4-6, dragon starter deck about $2-3. If it is the LOB version, then it can be sold on ebay for as little as $10 and as much as $20.


-XY-Dragon Cannon w/silver lettering I believe is from the Dark Beginning series and goes for $5-8 dollars on ebay, but many shops sell them for less.


-Ra w/silver lettering is probably a less profitable reprint of the original GBA promo, but can still be sold for about $10-15. This is assuming that the lettering is silver and silver/rainbow-like. If it is rainbow, then it is a secret rare and likely came from the DOD game and is closer to $20.


-Slifer and Obelisk w/gold lettering came from the original GBA game and are worth around $15-25 each.





Again, the prices can fluctuate on these cards. If the cards are in mint condition, then they are more valuable than if they are obviously used. Lastly, I would like to remind you that you can find the amounts of most if not all of these cards on ebay.
