In the yu-gi-oh card game what exactly is the effect written on the cards suijin and kazejin?

does the effect only relate to damage calculation or does it also destroy the attacking monster?

In the yu-gi-oh card game what exactly is the effect written on the cards suijin and kazejin?
In Yu-gi-oh, The effect of Suijin and Kazejin is to only apply to Damage Calculation. For example, if your opponent attacks Zazejin or Suijin with Blue Eye White Dragon, you don't lose any lifepoints.
Reply:The effect of Kazejin, Suijin, and Sanga of Thunder say to change the attacking monster's attack to zero. For all intents and purposes the attacking monster's attack is zero, so damage calculation is applied normally. For example, a Blue Eyes White dragon (attack 3000) attacks an attack mode Kazejin (attack 2400), and Kazejin uses its effect, then the Blue Eyes White Dragon would be destroyed in battle and its owner would take 2400 lifepoints of damage.
