I don't mean quick plays... and do field cards, equip cards, continuous, spell cards fall under the same category?
one more thing, when a monster effect states that: "once per turn...." does that mean each player's turn, or just your own.
thank you.
In YU-GI-OH card game, can a player play norm. spell cards during his opponent's turn?
i think there is a quick play spell which says something like "chain a normal spell card to this cards activation and that card becomes a quick play) ... other than this i don't think there is any way to activate a normal spell card during your opponents turn ... field, equip, continuous all come under this ruling ... monster effects which state "once per turn" usually are followed by "during your main phase" ... this has to be during your turn ... if it just says once per turn unless it says during either players turn you shoudl assume it only works during the controllers turn ... hope this helps
Reply:no
Reply:No, im pretty sure no, only traps i beleve... Try google searching it mate sorry but im very sure its a no =)
Reply:1.u can only do norms suring your turn, quickplays gotta be face down to use them on your opponnents turn.
2.Field, continuous, and equip are all in seperate catagories.
3. It means only once during your turn, unless the ruling states that you can.
And payment, you can chain a quick play(or qp for short.) to any card, or phase of a players turn if you choose to.
Reply:you can only play quick plays in response to normal traps and spell cards during opponents turn
